The aims of NAUSS are as follows:
To provide opportunities for specialist postgraduate studies in security and justice related fields producing expert Arab academics able to effectively face new and changing security challenges.
To introduce and promote the specialist subject of Islamic Criminal Legislation and its comprehensive principles, systems and applications.
To provide enhanced levels of training to Arab security personnel and to prepare them to be expert trainers possessing the most up-to-date knowledge in their respective fields.
To enrich and develop specialist academic research in fighting and preventing crime.
To strengthen relations between NAUSS and specialist Arab and international institutions related to security studies and the justice sector – as well as social institutions.
