The Department of International Cooperation at Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) manages and develops the many international relations between the university and numerous international universities and institutions.
International cooperation is a key strategy in developing NAUSS and its activities. NAUSS holds important relations with international universities such as the Paris Sorbonne University, the University of London, New York University, Cairo University, Damascus University, the University of Jordan, the University of Khartoum, Mohammed V University, Morocco, and the University of Lebanon.
NAUSS also holds successful relations with many international organizations and institutions such as UNESCO, the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization - ISESCO, the UN Refugee Agency, UNICEF, the UN office on Drugs and Crime, the International Civil Defense Organization - ICDO, the International Atomic Energy Agency - IAEA and INTERPOL.
NAUSS is regularly called to attend and participate in international conferences held by the above in order to share ideas and experience. In addition, NAUSS holds conferences and training courses in a number of countries including France, Holland, Canada, Italy, Austria, Spain Czechoslovakia, and China. The department oversees the organization and coordination of these activities and works to strengthen and maintain important relations.
Since the establishment of the department in 1985, it has signed no less than 90 memorandums of cooperation and understanding with many regional and international universities and institutions.
These important relations strengthen NAUSS and its work and enable it to actualize its many aims.
