The Department of Public Relations and Media is an important department of the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences. It was founded in the year 1980. Its avowed objective is to assist the University in the implementation of its multiple academic activities. Also, it strives to consolidate relations between University and other Arab security organizations. In addition, it strives to facilitate the tasks of the University community and University guests. Further, it maintains direct link with the University President. In short, it promotes human relations. Underneath such endeavors is the keen pursuit of this department to project prestigious image of the University.
The Department of Public Relations and Media also plays a formidable role in the celebrating of national events of the Arab nations. Pursuant to this task, it prepares advance programs of such ceremonies. Moreover, it carries out many additional assignments of non-academic nature. Among such assignments, the most decisive is, however, its relative contribution towards graduation ceremonies. The latter are organized for outgoing graduates enrolled at the College of Graduate Studies. Participant trainees completing their training programs at the Training College (TC) are awarded similar privileges. |
