This department provides students with an accurate insight into strategic theories and specialist terminologies used in studying and understanding them. It also examines the development of these theories and their application in formulating new and improved strategies to solve both future and existing security issues. The critical nature of this study enables students to become skilled in proposing, predicting and formulating effective solutions to security based problems. The department trains students in the use of the essential research skills and tools necessary to achieve this.
