Masters Degree Programs
1- University Graduates
- Successful applicants must hold a bachelors degree from a recognized institution with a grade of no less than Very Good (80 – 90 %).
- Applicants may also be accepted with a grade of Good (70 – 80%) if they attain 80 – 90% in strategic related subjects or if they possess a second bachelors degree.
- Applicants may also be accepted if they possess a one-year postgraduate diploma related to the courses offered.
- Applicants must demonstrate a strong relationship and enthusiasm in the area of study they wish to pursue.
2- Applicants from Police Academies and Military Colleges
- Successful Applicants must hold a four-year bachelors degree from a police or military Institution with an overall grade of no less than Very Good (80 – 90 %) with no less than 80 – 90% in related subjects.
- Applicants may also be accepted with a grade of Good (70 – 80%) if they attain 80 – 90% in Strategic related subjects or if they possess a second bachelors degree.
- Applicants may also be accepted if they possess a one-year postgraduate diploma related to the courses offered.
- Successful applicants must show the ability to commit to full-time study and must undergo a successful interview.
Doctoral Programs
- Successful applicants must hold a masters degree from a recognized institution with a grade of no less than Very-Good (80 – 90%) or a GPA of no less than 3 points from 5.
- Applicants must be able to commit themselves to full-time study for the period of the program.
- Applicants must present academic references from two instructors who taught the candidate and are able to attest to their relevant academic and personal abilities.
- Applicants must present a letter of nomination from their department. Alternatively, students may privately finance their own studies.
- Applicants must pass both a written and oral exam set by the college board.
- In addition, the college board may request that applicants study various bridging courses from a previous level of study before joining the course. These courses are to take no longer than two academic semesters and a successful applicant must acquire no less than an average of Very-Good (80 – 90%).
- The time taken to complete the Bridging Courses and the grades attained from them are not considered part of the PhD program.
