The goal of successfully facing challenging security issues both regionally and abroad requires expert knowledge as well as training. Strategic Studies aims to accurately study past, present and possible future security related issues. It critically assesses the effectiveness of past solutions and mechanisms used to practically face these issues. Such critical analysis is used to refine and improve existing security strategies as well as formulating new and effective alternatives. The College of Strategic Sciences was established in 2007 to achieve these goals. It aims to both deliver and develop this knowledge and to be at the forefront of today's strategic expertise. The college offers both master's and doctorate programs.
Academic experts in this field teach, develop and supervise students and curricula. In addition, our academics possess invaluable practical experience in both the military and security sectors; this adds to the successful implementation and development of academic research as well as preparing students to practically apply their knowledge whilst on future duty.
