Studies and Research Center (SRC) seeks to accomplish the following objectives:
1. It contributes to enhance security knowledge for the benefit of law enforcement personnel in the Arab countries.
2. It monitors important security problems which imperil the peace of Arab communities. Also, it tends to suggest adequate solutions. Finally, it assists security policy-makers to devise scientific- oriented policies in twin areas _____ crime and punishment; and crime prevention.
3. It develops techniques on security research such that may gainfully be utilized by security personnel and future researchers.
4. It prepares trains and encourages Arab law enforcement and criminal justice personnel to conduct empirical research in their respective areas.
5. It promotes dialogues and meetings among Arab security professionals on security problems _____ present and future _____ that concern Arab world as a whole.
