Naif University of Security Sciences (NAUSS) is the academic institution directly serving the Council of Arab Interior Ministers. As well as offering postgraduate study programs, NAUSS goes further in its service of security organizations by training Arab and international security personnel. NAUSS has been providing training programs since 1980.
The College of Training was established to provide the latest training programs in all fields of security sciences. Programs take the form of training courses and academic symposiums - as well as various security related exhibitions.
The college identifies training and development needs and designs and delivers suitable programs, symposiums, and exhibitions to fulfill those needs. The college provides training to various governmental departments and private companies and is at the forefront of cooperation in security related fields. The work of the college is part of the continuous aim of NAUSS to develop the skills, knowledge and experiences of security personnel. The college is one of the most important mechanisms in providing advanced training to security personnel in the Arab world.
Programs are offered in accordance with the directions and advice of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers and the Arab League. In addition, programs are offered as a continuation of previous programs as well as being the product of consultation with regional and international experts in the justice and security sectors of society - and experts from NAUSS.
Programs are delivered by experts from NAUSS as well as regional and international experts specially chosen for their knowledge and experience. These include both academics and security personnel in direct contact with the latest practical applications of security sciences in their respective fields.
