NAUSS International activities take place all over the world and are essential in actualizing the aims of the university and give greater scope and depth to its work and research.
These activities take many forms such as academic conferences, seminars and symposiums, training programs, exhibitions, publishing and distributing of books, theses, journals and articles, official visits and memorandums of understanding and cooperation.
NAUSS has successful relations with many countries including the following:

France
Relations between NAUSS and France began in 1985. Since then the university has carried out 49 programs in cooperation with French security and justice sectors and academic institutions - and has participated in 16 top level meetings in France. In 2005, NAUSS organized an international conference on justice systems and has signed 8 memorandums of understanding and cooperation with various French organizations and institutions. There are also various French companies that take part in security exhibitions organized by the university. |

Austria
Cooperation between NAUSS and the Austrian security sector began in 1988 with the first training seminar concentrating on fighting terrorism. The university has provided 8 academic programs in Austria in cooperation with the Austrian interior ministry. In addition, NAUSS signed a memorandum of understanding with the Austrian Police Academy and has held a conference in the academy discussing Arab efforts in combating terrorism. Similarly, the university has invited many Austrian experts to participate in its programs. NAUSS has participated in a total of 33 academic and training based programs in Austria. |

Italy
NAUSS began cooperation with Italian organizations and institutions in 1993 with a training course held in Rome entitled Airport Security. The university also organized a course in Italy examining medical evacuation for members of the emergency services. In 2005, NAUSS received the Italian interior minister who affirmed the great importance of strengthening relations between Italy and the university. NAUSS has participated in 35 academic conferences in Italy and has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Higher Institute for Criminal Sciences in Rome. |

Canada
NAUSS was chosen as one of the members of the board of directors at the International Center for the Prevention of Crime based in Montreal. The university also participated in forming the center. In 1997, NAUSS held a training course in Canada entitled Investigation into Traffic Accidents in cooperation with the Canadian police force. The university has participated in 8 academic conferences in Canada and Canadian experts have contributed to the many training programs held by NAUSS. Both the Canadian minister for security and the head of the Canadian intelligence service have visited the university. |

Spain
The Spanish interior ministry visited NAUSS and a memorandum of understanding was signed between the university and the department of training in the ministry. In 2006 the first training course was held in Madrid exploring the security of aircraft and airports. NAUSS has also participated in 3 academic conferences in Spain presenting various research papers. In 2007, the Spanish minister of justice visited NAUSS and in 2008 a conference was held in Madrid surrounding the use of technology in combating terrorism. |

The Czech Republic
The head of the Czech Police College visited the university in 2001 and a memorandum of understanding was signed with NAUSS. NAUSS has since held 3 training programs in the Czech Republic, the first of them taking place in 2002 entitled Developing Methods of Information Gathering in Combating Terrorism. Another program was held in 2003 entitled Methods of Combating Terrorism. In addition, in 2005, NAUSS held a training course on combating the illegal use of precursors and chemicals. The university is regularly invited to participate in security related conferences and meetings held in the Czech Republic and the president of NAUSS paid an official visit to the Czech Republic in 2003. |

Holland
The first conference held by NAUSS in Holland was held in 1988 and explored modern methods of drug control. This was followed by a conference on fingerprints at crime scenes. NAUSS participated in the 9th Victims of Crime Conference in Amsterdam In addition to this, delegates from the Dutch police force visited the university in 2004 and 2005 to strengthen relations between the two parties. |

The Peoples' Republic of China
In 2001 a group of officials from The Peoples' Republic of China visited NAUSS and a memorandum of understanding was signed with The Chinese People's Public Security University. In 2004, NAUSS attended an international conference in Hong Kong exploring police sciences and the president of NAUSS paid an official visit to the republic in 2006 which further strengthened cooperation. |

Germany
NAUSS held its first training course in Germany in 1986 in cooperation with the Federal Criminal Police Office, B.K.A. The university has since held 12 training courses in Germany in addition to delivering a lecture to the German police force on combating terrorism. NAUSS also held an exhibition for members of the German security sectors in 1988. In 2004, NAUSS signed a memorandum of understanding with The German Police Academy; the head of the academy visited the university in 2006 and again in 2008. |

Japan
NAUSS has successful relations with Japan especially in cooperating with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The university has participated in 5 academic conferences organized by the Japanese government in Tokyo and Kuala Lumpur. NAUSS has strong relations with the United Nations Asia and Far East Institute for the Prevention of Crime and the Treatment of Offenders (UNAFEI) which is based in Tokyo. Japanese officials pay numerous visits to the university. |

The United States of America
NAUSS began its relations with the USA in the early eighties receiving official visits from the American ambassadors to Saudi Arabia. The university has also used many American experts in its activities such as a training course on crime laboratories in Arab countries. In addition, NAUSS has participated in 10 academic conferences organized by the USA, the last of them being a conference on nuclear security in which the university presented a paper. A number of memorandums of understanding have been signed with various American institutes and associations. |

The United Kingdom
There are mutual visits between NAUSS and British security sector officials and educational institutions. In addition, the university has had a long standing relationship with the British ambassadors to Saudi Arabia and the British Council. Many British experts have taken part in academic conferences and training programs organized by the College of Higher Studies, the College of Training and the College of Forensic Sciences at NAUSS. The university president has paid an official visit to the British Home Office in addition to signing a number of memorandums of understanding and cooperation with various British security and educational institutions. The university has participated in various conferences in the UK and in July 2010 organized a conference at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) entitled Modern Methods of Combating Terrorism. |

Switzerland
NAUSS has participated in 4 academic conferences held in Switzerland and a number of Swiss experts have contributed to academic activities at the university. In 2004 in Geneva, NAUSS organized a training seminar on the management of disasters and crises. In addition, the university also organized an academic conference in Geneva in 2007 discussing medical evacuation. NAUSS has signed memorandums of understanding with The International Civil Defense Organization (ICDO) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) – both of which are based in Geneva. Swiss ambassadors to Saudi Arabia continue to visit the university. |

Taiwan
In 1992 and 1995 NAUSS was visited by the Taiwanese Federal Investigations Office and thereafter the university held a training program in Taiwan and has since held more programs in forensic sciences and, in 2004, NAUSS held a program for Taiwanese officials on counter terrorism. Taiwanese experts have also participated in programs held at NAUSS in forensic sciences and a memorandum of understanding has been signed with the Taiwanese Federal Investigations Office. |
