NAUSS is an active member of a number of regional and international university associations. The university regularly attends meetings and conferences held by these associations and contribute to research undertaken by them. NAUSS also organizes many of its activities in cooperation with them.

NAUSS is a member of the following university associations:

Association of Arab Universities (AARU)

This association comprises 173 members and is part of the Arab League. It is based in Amman, Jordan. NAUSS is a member of the executive board.

Islamic Universities League

This association comprises 160 Islamic universities and is based in Cairo, Egypt and is one of the associations that are part of the Muslim World League. NAUSS is a member of the executive council.

Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW)

This association comprises 180 Arab and Islamic universities and is based in Rabat, Morocco and is part of the Islamic Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO).

World Association of Universities and Colleges (WAUC)

This association comprises hundreds of universities and is based in Virginia in the U.S.A.

Association of Arab and European Universities (AEUA)

This association comprises 79 European and Arab universities and is located in Amsterdam, Holland.

The Arab Association of Collegiate Registrars & Admissions Officers (Arab ACRAO)

This association is part of the Association of Arab Universities (AARU) and its head office is located in Kuwait University.

Arab Council for Training University Students (ACTUS)

This association is part of the Association of Arab Universities (AARU) and its head office is located in The University of Jordan.

The General Secretariat of the International Arab Conference on Information Technology (ACIT)

The ACIT is a periodic conference held in the Middle East helping to facilitate the exchange of scientific information and experience. It is based in Zarqa Private University in Jordan.
