The first scientific conference of Red Crescent organizations is being organized by NAUSS in association with the Red Crescent and Red Cross organizations in the Arab world and international civil defense and protection organizations. The sessions of this three day event will start next Monday the 9th of January 2012 at NAUSS's campus and end on Wednesday the 11th.

The conference will be attended by representatives of the above mentioned organizations and the main topics include the role of these civil organizations in economic and social development plans and in volunteering projects .Expert papers focused on environmental protection, crisis management, the legal framework for the humanitarian activities of civil society and the training needs of the youth will also be discussed.

Dr. Khalid Alharfash, the director of public relations of NAUSS said the conference papers will be presented by scientists and experts in these fields plus professionals from Arab ministries of interior, social affairs and municipal affairs.
