Professor Abdul Aziz Ben Sagr Aghamdi, the president of NAUSS addressed the closing function of a training course on the safety of trains and railways and a symposium on promotion of the decision making skills of security commanders on Tuesday the 18th of January instant. In his speech, the president stressed the fact that both events are closely linked to permanent security priorities and concerns. The training course, he said, was organized in recognition of the decisive economic role of railways and the symposium in response to the need to promote decision making skills in disaster and crisis situations. Moreover, the sessions of the symposium focused on familiarizing attendees with the latest technical developments in the field and the best practices in formulating adequate security policies at border points. Other topics included effective and inspiring management, winning the confidence of colleagues and junior staff and how to exploit the skills and talents of the employees and develop their overall performance level.
After his closing statements the president handed over certificates to around 112 participants who attended the both the symposium and the training course and wished them success in their future tasks
