Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) is holding an international conference entitled: Disaster Medicine running from 29/11/2010 – 01/12/2010 on the university campus.

    The conference is being held in cooperation with the International Civil Defense Organization (ICDO) and the General Administration of Civil Defense in Saudi Arabia - as well as the Saudi Arabian Red Crescent Association.

    This conference will help to further and more accurately define essential medical needs and services in the event of a disaster and the logistics of effective cooperation in providing those services.

    The conference also presents an opportunity to exchange valuable experience and observations in helping to further develop this area of medical care and further actualize the safety and health of disaster victims.
