Solving challenging security issues and contributing to the worldwide academic community of security experts - in addition to benefiting from advanced academic studies in this field, requires effective professional research and analysis. The College of Higher Studies was formed in 1983 to provide members of Arab security services with an advanced level of knowledge and research skills to achieve this. Study in the college maintains the links between the highest levels of academic research in the field of security sciences and their practical applications.

    The college offers both master's and doctorate programs as well as various diplomas.
